Full disclosure: I am not good with computers.
But look what I did!
For months I've been grumbling around, trying to figure out how to create and edit images on the computer, failing time and time again. Do I need to buy Photoshop for this? Finally I got a quick and dirty lesson from a friend. Turns out, everything I wanted to do, I can do in Preview!
For my header, I put together a fabric collage, scanned it in, cropped, adjusted, and added text all in Preview.
I did the same for all my buttons...
As well as my post link images, which you can find by browsing my new Project Archive!
And, can you believe it? I used html to make these puppies work! HTML! All I had to do was google it, copy and paste the code and fill in my own addresses.
You can even go beyond rectangular images, as I did for my profile picture...
... and my signature!
Love the new look…not that I don't think the old wasn't nice as well.
